Membership Information

We hope you will join us in sharing and exploring health care experiences from around the world. International work can be an exciting yet daunting prospect for those new to nursing overseas. CAIN membership offers support and insight for those new to the experience and an opportunity to share and debrief for veterans of overseas work. CAIN also provides inspiration and generates new ideas for further endeavors in global health initiatives. As we grow in number, we will grow in strength and breadth, as we connect with other nursing associations and global health groups around the world.

We are still in our formative years, so now is an exciting time to join CAIN; we have only begun to create our projects, so your contribution and participation are very important. A framework has been created to enable collaboration with each other and with the International Policy and Development office of the CNA, but we need members to generate ideas, share experiences, form committees and take action. Very exciting things can be done if we capitalize on each others experiences, work jointly on projects and with international partners, share in educating ourselves, ultimately expanding what we can do, and what we contribute to global health and social justice.

New members receive a welcome and introductory package and all members receive free issues of CAIN’s biannual newsletters, and a discounted rate to attend the CAIN annual conference. Additional benefits for Regular members include the opportunity to run for a Board position and voting rights.

The fees to join the association are as follows:

REGULAR MEMBERS
➢ RN's -$45 per annum

ASSOCIATE MEMBERS

➢ Student Members - $25 per annum

➢ Retired RN's - $30 per annum

➢ Non-nurse applicants - $40 per annum
